Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of writing and publishing books. I also wanted to be an astronaut and a cowgirl. Alas, I gave up on the latter dreams, but through time and perseverance, stuck to my first dream. It has been a long and winding road that includes writing for the college newspaper at St. John's University, retail copy writing, publicity writing, technical editing, and writing travel and magazine articles. Still, my passion has been in writing fiction and poetry.
When I'm not writing, teaching, or dreaming up ideas for stories, I enjoy walks in the parks, yoga, drawing, watercolor, and going to the theater or the movies. Born under the sign of Sagittarius, the archer, I also enjoy travel, meeting new people, and philosophy.
My travels include trips through Canada, Mexico, Ireland, England, Scotland, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, Greece, Turkey, France, Ireland, Italy, the Bahamas, Bermuda, and many places in the U.S.A. Travel has given me a chance to research for books, expand my horizons, make new friends, and enjoy time with my family.
